The architects from VPLP designed the LAGOON 450S, LAGOON 450 SportTop together with Lagoon and the experienced designer office Nauta. This LAGOON 450 model has been sold over 420 times – this is a guarantee of quality and top performance!
The LAGOON 450s / LAGOON 450 SportTop with a length of almost 14 meters allows plenty of space on and below deck to relax and unwind. It is a catamaran with a massive sense of space and impressive lighting conditions. The LAGOON 450S enables maximum safety and comfort. The Lagoon 450S has two cockpits, one at the pantry level and one before assembly. The galley on the side emphasizes the open, extra-spacious feeling of the LAGOON 450S SportTop.
Design
Exterior
A helm station at deck height is optimally designed for communication with the cockpit. This means enormous time and distance savings on longer journeys. The helm position of the LAGOON 450s is located next to the aft saloon area, opening up all maneuvering elements, a large helm seat and direct access to the cockpit under deck. For more safety, the helm station can be completely closed with a hinged locking rod in bad weather. The boom of the mainsail of the LAGOON 450S is now lower. This also makes handling the LAGOON 450S much easier for smaller crews.
Instead of the flybridge, the helm station of the LAGOON 450S is now on the front wall.

A beautiful rooftop sundeck offers plenty of space to relax on deck. A composite bimini top above the helm station can also be ordered for the LAGOON 450S!

Interior
The LAGOON 450S / LAGOON 450 SportTop offers maximum safety and comfort on and below deck.
The raised helm station (for up to 3 people) at deck height enables the best communication with the cockpit below deck and also shortens the walking distances.
The catamaran LAGOON 450s is available with 3 or 4 cabins and can be customized as usual. The interior design was carried out by the experienced Nauta Design. She impresses with a luxurious owner’s cabin, a variety of functions, elegance and optimal lighting conditions in the salon and the cabins thanks to the lush hull windows. The standard version of each LAGOON 450S catamaran offers 4 air-conditioned double cabins with en-suite showers & toilets and 2 crew cabins in the bow. An 11 kW generator and 100l / h watermaker ensure convenience and autonomy.
The U-shaped pantry provides very high comfort at sea. Large hobs, a worktop with enough space and many different storage options are further highlights on the LAGOON 450S. The perfectly soundproofed engine rooms are located at a sufficient distance from the living area and thus enable a restful, quiet night at sea.
At the large tables in the salon and cockpit of the LAGOON 450S / LAGOON 450 SportTop, you can dine in a relaxed atmosphere with up to 10 people. The spacious cabins offer a lot of space. The beds are accessible from every side!
Lagoon 450S / Lagoon 450 SporTop. Power and performance
The mast is shorter, the boom is lower, but the sail area of the LAGOON 450s remains the same. Strong winds are no problem for the LAGOON 450S / LAGOON 450 SportTop. The sailing plan allows enough power to sail quickly and dynamically. With a light breeze of 10 knots, the LAGOON 450S with roll gennaker can sail an impressive 7 knots and more. The winch on the raised helm station and the davit winch of the LAGOON 450S are electric. A precise depth gauge and a modern forward sonar are also available.
Other highlights: The optimized bridge deck, in the seagull wing design, ensures significantly greater comfort on the high seas. The LAGOON 450s, LAGOON 450 SportTop also fulfills every desire at anchor. A 100M chain and a large anchor make it easier to anchor safely in deep water or in strong breezes. The helm station of the LAGOON 450S catamaran at deck height is perfectly designed for communication with the cockpit (time and walking distance saved). The helm station is adjacent to the rear salon partition. It offers all maneuvering elements including a large helm seat and direct access to the cockpit below deck.
